Colour Q and Mercy

This is my entry for Colour Q 45 and Mercy's Tuesday Sketch 86.

I kept making mistakes when I would stick something down I'd realized I had missed a layer. Then I had originally put the little girl down on a plain backgraound and it looked way too blah...so I had to pry her back off the page. Ugh!

LOL...all in all I like how this came out...though the photo doesn't do her any justice. I need a new camera or maybe I just need to learn how to use the one I've got. :)

I like the sparkly details you added to the dress. Even if you had a few "oops" along the way, it turned out terrific.

I think she's quite cute---and she sure makes me think of cooler weather with her little sparkly coat and skates! Thanks for playing with the CQC colors, too! When you figure out your camera, let me know....I could use some pointers!

She's beautiful. I love it. If you'd like a tip - cards look better if you can take the photo without the flash. The flash tends to flatten things. If you can take it outside or near a bright window, that usually works best for me.
